Fujifilm launches X-T10 prosumer ILC and new lenses

Fujifilm has taken the wraps off the X-T10  featuring the latest generation 16.3 Megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with built-in phase detection autofocus along with the high-performance EXR Processor II, and is compatible with all FUJINON lenses to deliver excellent resolution and outstanding image quality. Grabb launches app to help Torontonians pre-order and pre-pay for meals at over 30 restaurants

Grabb is a Toronto-based mobile app that aims to help people skip-the-line at busy downtown restaurants. The app, which is available for iOS & Android, lets users pre-order and pre-pay for meals at over 30 restaurants in the King West, Queen West and Financial core including Hero Burger, Aroma Espresso Bar, What A Bagel, and Buna’s Kitchen.

Other mobile food apps like Tab and delivery app Just-Eat are already popular with Torontonians, and with Uber Eats rumoured to launch its delivery service here soon, there couldn’t be a better time to be launching an app for hungry downtowners.

Amazon.ca opens wearable specific store

Launched today, the Amazon.ca Wearable Technology store features hundreds of products from top brands including Jawbone, Garmin, Fitbit and Motorola, as well as products from emerging brands like Lumo and Spire.

“Wearable technology has proven its significance and customers are increasingly coming to Amazon.ca to shop for and learn about these devices, so we’re putting wearable technology at their fingertips,” said Alexandre Gagnon, country manager for Amazon.ca. “Our new store features a wide selection of the latest gadgets. Plus, we’re making it easy to shop for wearables with a variety of resources and convenient shipping options making shopping and browsing effortless.”

The Apple Beat: The day-to-day Watch experience

It's been over a week since I've received my Apple Watch and while the initial thrill of using a new wearable hasn't diminished, I keep discovering new things about the Watch that make me want to keep on using it.

People know what an Apple Watch is. It may be the bright baby blue Sport Band or the unique brushed aluminum finish,  but it gets noticed, and  I've been 'told' various times, "hey, that's an Apple Watch." Most people want to know how I like it, what I do with it, and when they can get one. Some, even want to try it on.
