Apple just pushed a huge update to its Logic Pro X music production suite which is free to existing users and ramps up tools for creating EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Dubstep and Hip Hop compositions. Updated features include the popular Drummer and Flex Pitch settings plus and have added several new instruments and tools to create the best possible sound. Microsoft sees a future in Holograms with HoloLens

Microsoft's big next-gen technology play will be holograms, or at least the company's 'version' of this immersive virtual reality experience.

Just as rival Google has placed its Google Glass project in the hands of a new team, Microsoft revealed it has been working on its own augmented reality headset and glasses called HoloLens.

Microsoft to stream Windows 10 announcement tommorow

Microsoft is holding a event tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. Pacific to unveil its plans for Windows 10. Expected to be a unified OS, Windows 10's features are expected to apply to desktops as well as to mobile devices. This is a major launch for Microsoft and the biggest one under CEO Satya Nadella so it is expected to be quite comprehensive.
