Photo by Justin Hui via Twitter Despite cold -12 degree temperatures following an anomalous Spring snowstorm Wednesday, people at the Eaton Centre Apple Store formed lines as early as 7:30 PM Thursday night (above). The line was moved outside the building until 6:00 when they were let back in. There were reportedly around 100 people in line by 7 AM. The iPad 2 goes on sale at 5 PM later today. The line at 3:30 wrapped around the entire top floor and back to where the Disney Store is.

Mercedes-Benz announced today that it will set up its own production of fuel cell stacks inCanada. By doing so, the company will bundle the development and production for one of the key components of fuel cell powered electric vehicles in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Motorola Mobility's highly anticipated Atrix Android super-smartphone comes to Bell on March 17 for $599 (no term) or $170 on a new three-year contract. The Atrix ushers in a new mode of smartphone that can turn into a netbook or a desktop or home theatre device when used with accessory docks. Hit jump for Motorola's full release.
