Amazon Prime Music now available to Canadian subscribers with 1 million songs

Amazon Prime subscriptions in Canada seem to be the gift that keeps on giving. Around a year ago, subscribers got access to Amazon Prime Video (with great shows like Grand Tour, American Gods, Man in the High Castle).

Amazon's Alexa cloud-based voice service and Echo devices available in Canada

 The voice-assistant space in Canada is about to get more interesting. Amazon has finally brought its Alexa-powered Echo smart speakers and service to Canada which means it is now competing directly with Google Home.

Ride hailing service Lyft coming to Toronto in time for holidays

Ride hailing service Lyft is coming to Toronto, Canada to compete with Uber. The service announced it plans to be operating in the GTA by the holidays (so, December). This is the first time since Hailo shut down that Torontonians have had a choice in app-driven ride hailing services. Lyft has a better reputation than Uber and is generally better received although many drivers drive for both Uber and Lyft. Beow is a statement from Lyft.
