NAIAS 2017: First look at the 2018 GMC Terrain

Detroit - GMC unveiled its all-new 2018 GMC Terrain sports utility vehicle at a private event last night ahead of the North American International Auto Show, which kicks off today. 

Focusing in the design, luxury and choice of materials and finishes, the event turned the Museum of Contemporary Art into an exhibit of everything GMC. The 2018  Terrain shares a platform and many components from the Chevy Equinox. GMC is aiming for the Terrain to be a more luxurious option.

CES 2017: Cortana coming to BMW cars

Las Vegas - BMW has selected Microsoft's Cortana assistant to be part of their infotainment future. BMW says that its “connected driving experience will also be enhanced by intelligent voice control”, powered by a “personal digital assistant that customers are familiar with in other areas of their daily lives.”Cortana will be the voice asssitant component of BMW vehicles allowing a hands-free, yet interactive, way to access information, set reminders, check sports scores and integrate with other devices and services.

Instagram now supports wide colour capture on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

Apple's latest iPhones can shoot brighter, more detailed and wider colour gamut photos. Instagram has responded in kind by enabling wide colour capture support which brings all that detail, depth and colour on Instagram snap. 

Even better, Live Photos now import seamlessly and automagically into Instagram in the form of Boomerang videos which have recently gained renewed popularity for some reason. Best of all these new iPhone 7 features have been trickling out automatically so users don't need to do anything, if you have supported iPhones, they are most likely running the latest features already.
