Let.ter is an email client for Mac that takes out the distraction by presenting you with a basic text editor interface where you can just type in your email and your recipient’s address. The app costs $3.99 and is available for download here.

Yahoo! released a small update for its Mail iOS app to add swipe integration. The ability to swipe left to right while reading messages works on both the iPhone and the iPad. The tech company also included stability improvements and bug fixes for this 2.0.3 version.

Yahoo! has updated its Mail app for the Web by adding multi-tasking support. There is now a “Recent” view feature that shows you three different sets of the most recent activities you’ve done, including composed messages, messages in drafts, search inquiries and recently opened mail. You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+] for Windows and ⌘+[ and ⌘+]. There is no announcement yet on when the feature will be available for Yahoo! Mail's mobile apps.

Yahoo! has unveiled a new look and set of features for its Mail service on the desktop, iOS, Android, and Windows devices. The app now uses curated Flickr photo for the background viewable on all your gadgets. You get features previously available to premium users, such as disposable email addresses, improved filters, and automatic message forwarding.
Yahoo! Mail also now gives you 1TB storage and emails can now be read as threaded messages. The redesigned app is available in English in Canada, U.S., U.K. Philippines, Malaysia, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa with other languages and countries to follow.
