Yesterday was a big day for Yahoo! after the search giant purchased blogging service Tumblr for a cool $1 Billion. Yahoo! also relaunched their Flickr photo service in a huge way, with a redesigned photostream and a whole terabyte of storage per user. Hit jump fo Yahoo! CEO Marissa Meyer's message.

Carousel promises to put iOS and Mac user's entire photo collection from all their devices onlne in a single repository that is easily accessible, shareable and editable for a yearly fee of US $60 a year of $5 monthly. Boy, am I glad my Flickr Pro account expires tomorrow.
