Buyer Beware: Check that new iPad 2 in store before you leave!

Reports from CTV News of 24 sealed iPad boxes containing modeling clay sold from Canadian big box retailers has brought to light a scam where brand new iPads and chargers are replaced with clay and then the boxes are shrinkwrapped, returned for a refund and then sold to unsuspecting customers who come home only to be surprised by a lump of clay.

BlackBerry PlayBook on schedule for April 19th for $499

The much awaited RIM BlackBerry PlayBook is hitting US and Canada on April 19th and is now available for pre-order from Future Shop and Best Buy. Prices start at $499 for the 16GB WiFi model, $599 for the 32GB WiFi and $699 for the 64GB WiFi model.
