Google adds autofill to Chrome for iOS, improves Android app

Google finally adds autofill to its iOS Chrome app with form data synced with other devices to make it easier to log into websites. The feature has been available on Android version for a while already so Google “further streamlines online forms” to help online shopping become an easier experience. They are encouraging merchants and buyers alike to test a “faster checkout flow” with Betabrand and will work to bring other retailers on the platform soon.

Google extends Chrome for Windows XP support until 2015

Google intends to support Chrome on Windows XP until April 2015—exactly a year after Microsoft ends it support for the operating system. But the company believes there are still a number of Chrome users who use the OS. Google wants to help Microsoft users with the transition into newer systems and protect their computers against phishing and malware.

Google rolls out Chrome 30 for iOS

It’s been less than a week since Google released Chrome 29 for iOS but they had to release a newer version just in time for the iOS 7 debut. Chrome 30 for the iPhone and iPad has been created to match the look of the new OS. There are full-screen improvements, settings section redesign, and better integration with Google Maps and Gmail (if these apps are installed). It is important to note, however, that the minimum iOS requirement for the updated browser is iOS 6.
