It’s Minecraft’s fourth birthday and what better way to celebrate for fans than to be getting the Birthday Skin Pack? What’s extra special this year is not only will Xbox One and Xbox 360 users be getting the 4th Birthday Skin Pack but also the other three previous skin packs all for free. The giveaway is happening from today until May 16th.

Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:56PM Minecraft fans you can now play the game on Samsung’s Gear VR. It’s already available on the Oculus Store for US$6.99 (about $8). To play the game though, you would need a separate Bluetooth gamepad. Gameplay comes in cinema mode or full VR. Cinema mode makes it look like you’re sitting on a bench looking at the screen while you play or you can be completely immersed in the Minecraft world. TechCrunch’s Lucas Matney warns it gets a bit dizzying sometimes. The game is on the Oculus Store but it isn’t available for the Rift just yet.

Mojang’s video game phenomenon Minecraft launches worldwide on Nintendo’s Wii U home console on December 17. Minecraft: Wii U Edition comes with multiple add-on content packs, and will be available in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U in North America for $29.99. Nintendo and Mojang are also collaborating on new content for Nintendo fans to be released at a future date. More details about this content will be released at a later time.
