'Yakuza Kiwami' to make its long-awaited debut on the Nintendo Switch

The long wait is over! Yakuza Kiwami is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch eight years after it first came out on the PlayStation 3 and 4 in 2016. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original 2005 PlayStation 2 title Yakuza. The game was developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega.

Set in Kamurocho, it follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu. A member of the Tojo Clan, he takes the blame for his boss' murder. After a decade in prison, he returns to find his clan in trouble. Yakuza Kiwami is the first (and so far) only Yakuza / Like a Dragon game coming to the Nintendo Switch. It'll be available starting October 24, 2024.

'Castlevania' trilogy and more are hitting the Switch

Get ready to dive back into the gothic world of Castlevania! Nintendo has just announced the Castlevania Dominus Collection. Launching on August 27, the collection brings together three critically acclaimed titles from the Nintendo DS era: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. As a bonus, the arcade classic Haunted Castle is also included, offering a blast from the past.

To enhance the modern gaming experience, Konami has added features like save states and rewind, making these timeless games even more enjoyable on the Switch.

'Civilization VII' is coming to a Switch near you

Build empires on the go as Firaxis just announced that Civilization VII is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. You can now conquer the world, one turn at a time, while chilling on your couch or commuting to work. Expect the same addictive gameplay you know and love, with the ability to mix and match civilizations and leaders to your heart's content.

The graphics might not be as mind-blowing as on a high-end PC, but the new trailer promises a similar experience. Civilization VII launches on the Nintendo Switch, other consoles, PC, and Mac on February 11.

EA to release a 'MySims: Cozy Bundle' on the Switch

There hasn't been a The Sims game on the Nintendo Switch yet, until now. Well, sort of. Switch gamers are going to get a version of it. EA has announced the release of a MySims: Cozy Bundle for the handheld console. It will include updated versions of the MySims and MySims Kingdom games with Switch-optimized controls and updated textures.

MySims can be described as a cross between The Sims and Animal Crossing. You're tasked to rebuild a run-down town by procuring blueprints, building homes, and making furniture to attract new residents. There are different characters with unique characteristics that set them apart.
