OnePlus, the global technology brand, has unveiled the OnePlus 12, its latest flagship smartphone, in New Delhi, India. The OnePlus 12 is packed with many new and impressive features that make it one of the most powerful and advanced smartphones in the market. It debuts alongside the OnePlus 12R.

It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the latest and most powerful processor from Qualcomm. OnePlus said it worked closely with Qualcomm to optimize the performance of this chipset. The OnePlus 12 also features a Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System to keep the phone cool and efficient. It has the largest VC ever in a OnePlus device, measuring 9,140 mm². It enhances heat transfer and reduces resistance.

OnePlus 12 and 12R global launch date announced

After launching exclusively in China, the OnePlus 12 and its midrange sibling, the OnePlus 12R, are set to make their global debut on January 23. The launch event will take place in India at 7:30 PM IST (9:00 AM ET) and will be broadcast online via various platforms, including YouTube and X.com.

The OnePlus 12 boasts a stunning spec sheet with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It also sports a remarkable triple camera system with a 50MP main shooter, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. The display is a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1,440 x 3,168px resolution, an adaptive 1-120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits for HDR content (1,600 nits in normal mode).
