Pokémon and Tamagotchi team up to launch an Eevee Tamagotchi toy

The inner ‘90s kid in me is having a field day with this news. Pokémon and Tamagotchi have partnered to release an Eevee Tamagotchi, which will be coming to Japan on January 26, 2019. From what we know so far, it looks like the gameplay is similar to the traditional Tamagotchi but it’s cooler since you get to take care of your own Pokémon

Based on Tamagotchi’s Japanese websitehow you take care of your Eevee will determine whether it turns into an UmbreonJolteonVaporeon, or its other forms. The toy will be coming in yellow (I love you, Eevee design) or pink (Colorful friends design) and is listed at JPY 2,484, which is roughly $30. Unfortunately, there is no news yet if these Tamagotchis will be making their way out of Japan. We sure hope they do, though.
