Rogers confirms availability of HTC One M8, reservation now open

Good news for anyone wanting to get a new HTC One M8 on Rogers, they will be carrying HTC's latest, greatest flagship smartphone as of April 10 for $229.99 on select two-year terms.

New and existing customers can purchase the gunmetal grey device online right now via the Rogers Reservation System and have the device shipped to the store of their choice.

Review: LG G Flex on Rogers

The first smartphone on the planet to offer a curved and flexible screen is a powerhouse device no matter which angle to view it from.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock (or simply not reading Canadian Reviewer) you’re probably aware that curved screens are all the rage. First it was TVs, with both LG and Samsung debuting curved OLED and LCD HDTVs and UHDTVs.

The rationale being that a curved screen offers viewers better picture quality because it eliminates edge-distortion caused by the increased distance of the sides of the screen to your eye. Yeah, I’m not necessarily buying that reason either, but one thing’s for sure: Curved screens are here and starting with the LG G Flex, they’re going to be in your hand, not just your living room. So the question is, why do we need a curved smartphone?

Samsung Galaxy S5 coming to TELUS and Rogers in Canada

TELUS and Rogers have both confirmed they will be carrying Samsung's Galaxy S5. TELUS says the Galaxy S5 will be available in-store at TELUS on April 11 with pre-orders launching April 1. For customers who just can’t wait, they can pre-register now on their website to receive information and early access to pre-order the Samsung GALAXY S5.  

Rogers has the Samsung Galaxy S5 available for reservation right now for a release of April 11.  Pricing is $249.99 on select two-year term agreements. Prices for Samsung Gear:  Gear 2 Neo, only available with Rogers, for $219.99; Gear Fit for $219.99; and Gear 2 for $329.99.
