TELUS makes roaming easier for Canadians, eliminates $0.60 incoming SMS fee

Good news for TELUS subscribers who love to travel with their phones.  This timely news comes as many Canadians gear up to escape this long, bitter winter. TELUS says it is no longer charging the $0.60 incoming SMS fee for TELUS customers roaming outside Canada. Now, customers can receive unlimited incoming text messages free of charge and feel more comfortable keeping their phones on while they travel abroad.

TELUS has confirmed that March 5 is the day to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge. Announced yesterday at the Mobile World Congress.

HTC One (M9) arriving in Canada on Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, and Videotron early spring

The HTC One (M9) flagship smartphone is coming to Canada early Spring and is a lock for carriers like  Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, and Videotron. Pricing hasn't been revealed but it should be along the lines of most flagship devices available on two-year contracts.

he HTC One M9 will be available with a range of unique and customizable accessories including the second generation HTC Dot View case, which adds more retro personalization thanks to a host of new features and colour options.

Am updated version of the HTC Dot View can handle alerts from Instagram, Snapchat and Badoo with through-the-case notifications.

A new IP68 water resistant Active Case and Active Headset is also coming for the new HTC One.

Metal versions of Motorola Moto 360 coming soon to Canada

The all-metal variants of the Moto 360 are coming to Canada.  TELUS will have metal versions of Moto 360 starting this Friday. TELUS is running awill run promow where buyers get a $30-off any Moto 360 (until March 31), and customers who purchase a Moto 360 can get a Moto X for free (on a two-year agreement). Variants inclide a Moto 360  - Metal Dark  and Light Metal finish for $329 (MSRP) at TELUS, Future Shop and Best Buy.

The Moto 360 - Slim Metal in Champagne Finish will retail for $359 (MSRP) at TELUS (select stores and online).
