If you want to get a discount on a new phone plan, Telus is offering its 20GB Peace of Mind plan for $75 instead of $95 until January 21. This "bring your own device" plan offers no data overages, and it will throttle speeds tp 512Kbps when you exceed your allotted data. The Peace of Mind plans also come with unlimited Canada-wide call and text, as well as call waiting, conference calling, call display, and Voicemail 25.

One of the ways you can get the Motorola Razr in Canada is through Vancouver-based Telus. The national carrier has a page on its website where you can sign up for updates to know when the phone will be available for order. Outside of showing the storage (128GB) and colour (Black) options, features, and specs, Telus didn't give any other information. When you sign up for updates, you'll need to provide your first and last name, email address, and which carrier you're with at the moment.
We currently don't have the local price of the Motorola Razr, but it launched in the US for $1,499, which is around CA$1,974. It's not a cheap device, but it's still more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Fold, which is around CA$2,600.
Friday, October 4, 2019 at 2:24AM If you have a Telus Peace of Mind plan and use an iPhone, it'll be easier to monitor your data use now. The iOS app has been updated to shows your data use, so you'll know when you've used up your high-speed data and are about to enter throttled speeds. Speeds are throttled to 512Kbps when you've exceeded your data limit. It's still usable for messaging and browsing emails, but you won't be able to stream video without interruptions.
