Apple seeks damages from Epic Games for breach of contract

Apple is going on the offensive and seeking damages from Epic Games for allegedly breaching its contract with the iOS App Store. In a wide-ranging motion filed on Tuesday afternoon, Apple defends itself against Epic's legal charges while accusing the Fortnite maker of outright theft.

The filing reads, "Epic's flagrant disregard for its contractual commitments and other misconduct has caused significant harm to Apple. Left unchecked, Epic's conduct threatens the very existence of the iOS ecosystem and its tremendous value to consumers."

New LG Wing leaked video shows swivelling display in action

We're days away from the launch of the LG Wing, so the rumour mill keeps churning. The latest leak shows how the swivelling screen works, an unusual shape we haven't seen other smartphone makers do. And the phone itself doesn't look that thick. The Wing is expected to be priced around US$1,000, but will the price be worth it even though it's rumoured to forego some flagship specs.

We're curious about the use cases for this handset. But as GSMArena pointed out, we aren't sure how many third-party developers will fully support this experimental dual display solution. We're going to find out more about the LG Wing on Monday, September 14.

'Minecraft' will get PSVR support this month

Mojang/Sony

If you own a PlayStation VR and play Minecraft, you'll appreciate this new announcement from Sony. The company revealed on Monday morning that the game would get PSVR support this month. It won't announce a firm release date yet as the free update is still not quite ready. The update will roll out for all PlayStation 4 players.

Minecraft's developer Mojang worked with SkyBox Labs to refit its virtual reality tech it uses on other platforms to work on the PSVR. The update will let you play Minecraft's entirety on the PSVR, with two primary VR modes: Immersive and Living Room (a.k.a. virtual screen). There will also be more settings to tweak, so the game plays to your liking.
