Huawei improves the screen and processor on the foldable Mate XS

Huawei has improved its foldable device in ways where it counts: its display and processor. And so the Mate X successor, the aptly named Mate XS, features a more durable display and a faster processor. 

Huawei is using a "quad-layer" construction for its plastic display, which the company claims should make it more robust. Up top, there are two layers of polyamide film stuck together with a clear adhesive. Below that is the flexible OLED display, and then a softer polymer layer is underneath that serving as a cushion and the last layer connecting the screen to the Mate XS's main body.

Netflix's 'Carmen Sandiego' to get an interactive special

 

What can be seen as a throwback to its roots, Carmen Sandiego's special will be interactive, Choose Your Own Adventure-like story. This special will be Netflix's second interactive special after Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, but this time it'll be a bit more kid-friendly. Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal follows the iconic spy how has to do the bidding of the Villians International League of Evil (V.I.L.E.) after they captured Carmen's friends and professional thieves Zack and his sister Ivy while on a heist. If she doesn't succeed in what they ask of her, Zack and Ivy's minds will be wiped, and they will become V.I.L.E. operatives.

The trailer shows how the story will play out and how you will be expected to interact with the special. It is one of the three interactive specials Netflix has reportedly planned to make. The other two include Boss Baby and Last Kids on Earth. Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal will be available to watch and play on March 10. The special will run for 45 minutes.

Bob Iger steps down from role as Disney CEO

It was back in 2018 when Disney CEO Bob Iger announced his intentions to retire from his role. Now, it looks like the transition has begun. Iger just stepped down from his role, and he has now been replaced by Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Bob Chapek. Iger will continue to serve as the company's executive chairman until the end of 2021.

Huawei to launch P40 series on March 26 in Paris

We now have a release date for the Google-less Huawei P40 series. The company will launch the new flagships on March 26 in Paris, France, which would mark the third time the Huawei has launched its P series in the same city. Similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, this smartphone line will not include Google's various services because of its ongoing US ban.
