Google Maps goes for gamification with the help of Mario in driving mode

Google has collaborated with the team at Nintendo to let Mario accompany users on all of your driving adventures on Google Maps this week.

To get started, you’ll need to first update your app from Google Play or the App Store. Next,  simply click on the yellow “?” icon found on the bottom right of your Google Maps app on Android or iOS. You’ll then see a prompt to enable Mario Time! Find out more here.

Women in Gaming Panel kicks off on Mixer today

There's a Women in Gaming panel today on mixer.com/xbox today at 6:30pm EST.

The panel features a few amazing women in the games industry, including: Nicole Fawcette (Xbox Women in Gaming), Maja Moldenhauer (Studio MDHR), Sam Maggs (Bioware) and Lesley Phord-Toy (Ubisoft) – moderated by Jennie Faber (Dames Making Games).

Review: Samsung Galaxy S9

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is a continuation of the path the South Korean company started last year with the Galaxy S8. Both devices are very similar and nearly identical in look and feel.

What's different this year, aside from the requisite change in colours, are various fine-tuned elements and refinements that add up to a more cohesive handset that's also more refined.

Samsung Galaxy S9 preorders now available from Microsoft

Microsoft seems to have anointed the Samsung Galaxy line of devices as a good fit for Windows 10 users and it comes as no surprise that it now has the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ available for preoder in its stores.

Pricing for unlocked Galaxy S9's is $960 CAD and the larger, dual-camera toting S9+ will cost $1,100 CAD. The devices are being featured with Microsoft services like the Microsoft launcher and Office 365. Samsung Galaxy S9 devices are set to ship by March 16.
