Humane’s wearable AI Pin is positioning itself as the antidote to smartphone addiction. The company wants to help re-immerse us in the real world instead of being tethered to our screens. Spearheaded by former Apple experts, this innovative concept promises to liberate users from their digital chains. However, the initial investment of US$699 (around CA$944) plus a US$24 (~CA$32) monthly subscription fee presents a significant hurdle for many.

But fear not, early adopters! Humane is showing its appreciation by offering the first three months of the subscription (a US$72/~CA$97 value) for free for those who take the plunge and purchase the AI Pin. This gesture of gratitude extends further with waived shipping fees for all new purchases. And for those who've already invested, rest assured, Humane is committed to ensuring you're taken care of, hinting at possible refunds or reimbursement.

One user, @dornbirn, describes polishing the glass, attaching the soft cover, and storing it in the case before discovering the crack the next morning. Other users also report storing their headsets in cases or with the soft cover on.
