Yahoo Mail brings undo send to iOS app

Yahoo Mail has brought a lot of new features into its iOS and Android app, including bringing over Stationery to Android. But the one feature we know users will appreciate is being able to take back emails, much like what you can do with Gmail. There is now an undo send option for the Yahoo Mail iOS app. When you send out an email after tapping send, an “undo” option will pop up at the bottom of your inbox feed for about three seconds, so yes, you have to react fast. There is no word yet when this’ll make it into the Android app. But Yahoo does now allow Android users to disable the swipe to delete function and customizable spacing between emails in your feed to make it more condense or to see snippets of an email. The universal search on Android TV now shows Netflix results

Google finally adds a long overdue feature for Android TV: Netflix search results. Now, when you use the universal search function on the set-top box software, you’ll be able to see Netflix cards with background artwork, show or movie poster, and cast information beside that. However, it isn’t clear if there’s a need to update on the Netflix side or it’ll happen in the server side.

Website lets you text ‘Game of Thrones’ spoilers anonymously

Hate someone so much you want to spoil Game of Thrones for them? Now, you can do that anonymously with Spoiled.io. Just pay US$0.99 to have the service send spoilers to whatever number you provide. It’ll send the messages after each new episode airs. It can be a rather cruel prank for family and loved ones, too, but that comes at a price that the small fee won’t cover, of course.

YouTube brings live streaming to mobile

It doesn’t come as a surprise that YouTube is finally bringing its live streaming capabilities to mobile devices. This now puts them up against the likes of Facebook, Periscope, and Meerkat. YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki made the announcement at VidCon after months of speculation that they were going to introduce this feature.  You’ll see a new red capture button in the corner of the app to start livestreaming. You can take a photo or select one to use as a thumbnail and then start broadcasting to fans and chat in almost real time.

YouTube has been doing live streaming for a number of years already so this is just a progression of that. And the company boasts they have better infrastructure to offer a better experience than its competitors. Kurt Wilms, product lead of Immersive Experience at YouTube, told Mashable, “We’ve put a lot of energy and effort into making our platform great, stable, reliable and fast.” Some of the creators who have access to live streaming include The Young Turks, Alex Wassabi, and SACCONEJOLY.
