Apple Music on Apple TV to get Siri integration

Perhaps in a bid to get more users to subscribe to Apple Music, the company will be adding Siri support for Apple Music on the new Apple TV. So, you can ask it to play you your favorite albums and the like. Siri’s already able to conduct universal searches for video content on the set-top box, now it will be able to do it for music, too. Well, at least it will be able to do so by early next year.

Facebook brings expanded notification options to mobile

A new update for Facebook on Android and iOS is bringing an “expanded, personalized notifications tab” to you. This will show everything from updates of your friends, joining notifications, info about friends’ birthdays, live events, sports scores, TV shows, and even updates about certain locations if you have Location History enabled. Facebook though won’t change your existing notifications settings if those are okay with you. The adjustment options will just show up within the Settings so you can make changes as you see fit. Rollout is happening gradually for both operating systems in the US. If successful there, hopefully it makes its way here.

Doodle on your Google Keep notes

Sometimes it’s just not enough to type out your notes. There has to be some doodling involved, too. That’s why Google Keep is coming to your aid. If you use Google’s little notes app, it will now let you doodle on them. It’s coming first to Android users and might make its way to iOS but we can’t tell when yet.

Gigantic Samsung Galaxy View tablet gets leaked online

There seems to be a market for extra-large tablets (or perhaps they’re trying to create a demand for it?). Samsung’s entering its own device into the mix with the 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet. The device was recently spotted on Adorama and indicated it was ready for pre-order. It has since been pulled though. Some of the specs for the tablet include a Full HD screen, 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage with memory expansion, and 2.1MP front camera. It doesn’t have a rear camera because really try taking photos with that. It also has a 5,700mAh battery and Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G LTE connectivity. It was listed for US$599. We should wait for the official launch. With a pre-order page up, it should be coming soon.
