New ‘Sherlock’ trailer sets the mood for the upcoming special

While we know that the new Christmas special of BBC’s Sherlock is set in the 19th century. We don’t know too many details about this Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat creation. Aside from seeing them in their Victorian garb (and John Watson’s moustache comeback), we sense the somewhat darker mood of the show. There is a mystery to be solved as we can see but aside from that, there isn’t much we can say. But, of course, it isn’t Sherlock without a few jokes and potshots at the leads’ expense, like Holmes’ famous hat.

Print your own running shoes with adidas

There will come a day when you can print your own running shoes. And adidas is making sure that happens. The brand just introduced a new proof of concept 3D-printed shoe called Futurecraft 3D. This shoe will be a lightweight, high-performance footwear that you can customize the midsole to suit your cushioning requirements. For example, athletes and their coaching teams can adjust running shoes based on specific events and requirements the runners would need.

adidas partnered with Belgium-based 3D printing group Materialise to help bring this project to life. According to Eric Leidtke, an executive board member of adidas, “Futurecraft 3D is a prototype and a statement of intent. We have used a one-of-its-kind combination of process and material in an entirely new way.” The company plans to release more design innovations for this “Futurecraft initiative” in the coming months.

Design your own ASUS ZenWatch watch face with FaceDesigner app

If you truly want to make the 2nd-generation ASUS ZenWatch your own, the wearable now has a FaceDesigner app that lets you customize its watch face. It works with Android Wear and only works on a ZenWatch. What you can do with it is change the watch face, clock type, as well as the widget you want shown on the screen. It allows you to change things like background color, image, text color, weather info, tick icon, time zone information, battery information, calories, etc. If there’s a specific photo you want to use as your background, you can use that, too.
