Periscope will be coming to Android

Twitter recently launched Periscope on iOS. And people have been asking the company if they had any plans on bringing it to Android. Well, according to a blog post from the development team, that is happening. When this will happen isn't certain yet. But they are working on it.

If you don't know what Periscope is, it's an app that lets you broadcast live video streams from your mobile devices. People can also watch what you're streaming right from their mobile gadgets. Periscope allows users to send messages and chat while a live stream is ongoing. Twitter launched Periscope to compete with Meerkat, an app with a similar function that was gaining traction on Twitter's platform.

Next Apple TV will reportedly not yet support 4K video streaming

If you're waiting for Apple to add 4K support to its TV streaming box, then you might be in for a disappointment. According to a BuzzFeed report, Apple doesn't have plans yet to add 4K video streaming into the features available on the Apple TV. One of their sources familiar with Apple's way of thinking said that 4K is still in its infancy that's why they don't want to invest in it yet. BuzzFeed speculates that Apple might be holding back because the technology is cost-prohibitive as well.
