Amazon takes drone tests to a secret location in Canada

After the FAA set strict limitations for commercial drone use in America, Amazon decided to take its drone testing and research outside the country and into Canada. The company is currently doing delivery drone tests at an undisclosed location in British Columbia. They're making use of the airspace above 200 feet yet below 500 feet so it's well above most buildings yet still below airplanes and helicopters. According to The Guardian who got to visit the facility, the Amazon drones are going to weigh less than 55 pounds and carry five-pound or lighter loads and they will fly at around 50 miles per hour.

Buyers of Apple Watch Edition will reportedly get first-class treatment

If you’re willing to shell out US$10,000 for an Apple Watch, then there seems to be some perks waiting for you. According to 9to5Mac sources, those buying the gold Apple Watch Edition will get to jump the queue at stores and spend an hour trying out the watch in a private area with an expert staff member. Aside from that, you’ll also get two-year access to a dedicated Edition phone support line that works 24/7.

Now, if you opt for the stainless steel Watch, you get the option to have a “virtual personal setup” that will also have an Apple Store staff member guiding you through the smartwatch’s setup via video chat. If you get the Watch Sport, unfortunately, you’ll get the same assistance you would for an iPhone.

HTC One E9+ gets leaked in China

HTC doesn’t seem to be too good at keeping its devices under wraps. This time around its new One E9+ phablet shows up on the company’s Chinese site without a big launch. When compared with the flagship One M9, this one sheds the metal body for a half plastic, half metal casing at 7.499mm thick. It switches up the curved back for a flat design. And it has a 5.5-nch Quad HD screen with 534ppi, making it the sharpest display from the company.

It reportedly sports a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795M octa-core 2GHz processor, 16GB internal storage that is expandable via microSD up to 128GB, 3GB of RAM, dual nano SIM slots, and 2,800mAh battery. It also sports a 20-megapixel rear camera. Of course, you can expect it to have UltraPixel camera, BoomSound stereo speakers, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi and multi-mode LTE for data and voice connections. Since this was a leak, there isn’t a word yet about pricing and release date. Hopefully, we hear from HTC soon.

Volvo helps bikers been seen in the dark with reflective bike paint

If you’re a biker, you know that one of the most terrifying things to do is to ride a night. You can have reflectors on you and your bike but that doesn’t mean you’re completely safe. That’s why Volvo introduced a new LifePaint spray that is invisible during the day but reflects card headlights at night. You can coat it on your bike, clothing, helmet, and the like and it’ll last for around 10 days but you can also wash it off. It’s not something you can use in a rainstorm just yet.

It’s currently only available in six bike shops in London and Kent. There isn’t any word yet if it’ll be available elsewhere. It all depends on how they fare in these areas.
