Sony unveils Movies Small App for Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact

Sony is letting you continue watching your films on a smaller window with its new app, Movies Small App. This feature has been available on Samsung devices for a while but better late than never we say. The catch is it currently only works with Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. You activate it within the Movies app player through an icon. You can resize the window by dragging from the bottom right corner and there is a progress bar as well as play/pause functionality.

Sonos allows multi-account control with controller app

Sonos home audio have been built for family sharing but the downside is you can only use a single account for each music service. That’s about to change with the new Sonos controller app beta that lets you switch accounts immediately without needing to sign in every time you want to switch.

Android users can control the Sonos setup from the lock screen and Playbar owners should notice better sound staging and balancing. The beta is available for Android, Mac, and PC and we should see the finished product before the year ends.

Apple Watch launch reportedly pushed back to spring

If you have been waiting for Apple's first wearable to make its way to you immediately after the holidays, it looks like you are in for a bit of wait. According to 9to5Mac, the launch of the Apple Watch has been pushed back to spring of 2015. This post-holiday launch might affect sales of other wearables, according to Moor Insights and Strategy President and Principal Analyst Patrick Moorhead. Consumers might think twice of buying a smartwatch now to see if it is worth buying against the Apple Watch.
