Pocket updates Android app, adds storage control and other new features

Pocket released a significant update for its Android app recently to add new features such as the ability to set offline storage limit, improved Evernote integration, and a new quick delete mode. Pocket will now let you set offline storage limit to make sure the app doesn’t eat up as much space on your device. Format for Evernote has also been cleaned up so the articles sent to Evernote will look like the Article View on Pocket. You can also now just delete articles with a swipe. But if you accidentally swipe an article you didn’t mean to, Pocket also introduced a new undo button.

Nokia plans to re-release Here Maps on iOS

Aside from finally branching out on Android, Nokia is planning to make a comeback to iOS. Nokia SVP Sean Fernback told Wall Street Journal that the release of the first app “went horribly wrong” and they are now working to remedy that. They intend to release a redesigned iOS and new Android app as well before the year ends. But they have to make sure they get it right with iOS 8 this time, unless we want a repeat of the past.
