First Chevrolet Bolt EV deliveries taking place in Toronto

Toronto, ON - The electric vehicle revolution in Canada took a big step forward today as Samantha Mesrobian, one of the first Toronto customers, received the highly anticipated Bolt EV. Trading her Land Rover LR2 SUV for one of the first three Chevrolet Bolt EVs to be made available to Canada, Mesrobian cited a need to try something different 

"I drive five or six kilometers a day to the GO Train station, but my mother lives outside of Guelph and my son in in school in Ottawa," Mesrobian said when asked what her commute is like. She will install a fast charger at her house and he's already researched the charger options along her usual drives. With the Bolt EVs projected 383 KM range, she's confident that she will not suffer from range anxiety.

Amazon.ca showcases the latest products for Canadians for summer

Amazon.ca continues to expand its product offerings as well as services tied to its Prime memberships in Canada.

On the heels of making Amazon Prime Video to existing Amazon Prime subscribers in Canada, the company also has made Twitch Prime available.

Amazon also continues to bring its own white label products under the Amazon Essentials label. These are items like rechargeable batteries, smartphone plugs and cables, as well as other affordable yet quality products. On display at their showcase were yoga mats, notebook PC cases as well as blankets.

Apple announces all-time record quarterly revenue of $78.4 billion

Apple hosted its Q2 2017 Earning's Call this afternoon and announced a revenue of $78.4 billion as a result of  'iPhone, Services, Mac and Apple Watch setting All-Time Records.' These results compare to revenue of $75.9 billion and earnings per diluted share of $3.28 in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 64 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
Apple sold 78.3 million iPhones which is an all-time reacord and up 5 per cent year over year. Apple CEO Tim Cook noted that there was a preference for the larger iPhone 7 Plus model and it considerably outsold the iPhone 6S from a year ago. The iPhone remains Apple's strongest product.
