Microsoft Xbox One update includes content management, battery power indicator, and USB keyboard support

Microsoft just released an update for the Xbox One that includes features such as content management, return of the battery indicator, and support for USB keyboards. The Next Web reports Xbox One users can now see and manage the storage space and even download queue and install lineup on the console. The My Apps and My Games have been separated into different lists and have different queues. Users can also track update progress with a boot progress indicator and choose the order for content to load.

Microsoft also brought back the battery power indicator to help you track the battery life of the controller. And for those who want to use USB keyboard with the Xbox One that is possible with the new update. The next update is supposedly going to be released on March 4.

Bing and RoboCop reimagine the future of search

With the RoboCop remake coming out soon, Sony Pictures partnered with Microsoft to develop a concept of what search could look like in the future. The team in charge of Microsoft’s Bing search engine didn’t want to put out an unbelievable 3D holographic kind of concept. Instead, they wanted the concept to be based on innovations that are just about to crop up and are “very much grounded in today’s reality.”  They showed 3D displays with key data in front and voice recognition like Bing on Windows Phone and Xbox. Fireproof Games outs eerie iPad game ‘The Room 2’ on Android

If you’ve been dying to get in on some creepy puzzle-solving action on your Android device, then you’re in luck. Fireproof Games just introduced The Room 2 for Android devices. The developers remind users the game needs “a fairly powerful device with a decent amount of RAM in order to run.” The game costs $2.99 and is up for download on Google Play Store and Amazon App Store.

Tizen OS introduces 15 additional partners

The Tizen Association has just announced the addition of 15 more partners who will help develop the open source operating system Tizen. The partner program was introduced in November 2013 with 36 initial members. The new partners include ZTE, AccuWeather, CloudStreet, Sprint, Baidu, Cyberlightning, SoftBank Mobile, Acrodea, DynAgility, Red Bend Software, Gamevil, Piceasoft, Nomovok, Ixonos, and Inside Secure. The members can attend Tizen Association meetings to help develop the OS and work with Tizen Association Working Groups.
