New ads for iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2 focus on new features like water resistance

Apple's stepped up their game not just in terms of devices but in the quality and focus of their advertisements. Created in house, the new ads for iPhone 7 and for Apple Watch Series 2 show real-world situations. Some Bluetooth alternatives to Apple's AirPods

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The good news is that Bluetooth headphones have been around for awhile, not all of them are completely wireless like the AirPods but that doesn't mean they don't sound good or offer longer battery life. Here are some recommendations I've used.

Apple's AirPod wireless Bluetooth headsets are basically the next generation of wearables (or earables, if you prefer). They don't only manage wireless dual-earbud connectivity, they're tuned for easy access to Siri and they also bake in some 'Apple Magic,' in that they're easy to pair, know when they're being worn and can charge in their tiny case.

Above are some photos of the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus and the Rose Gold iPhone 7.

Apple has figured out a few things about the Apple Watch and its users and the result is the Apple Watch Series 2. Looking very much like the first-gen Apple Watch (which is still availble with an updated dual-core processor), the Series 2 does have some minute differences that are easy to miss. Here are my impressions after three days of use.

Series 2 is a bit thicker than the original Apple Watch because it now has a larger battery, built-in GPS as well as water resistance for up to 50m. There's an extra microphone hole and this is used to expel any water that may have seeped in during a swim.
