CES 2015: First Apple Watch accessory is the Bandstand Dock

The Apple Watch wont be making an appearance at CES 2015 but you can bet that its presence will be deeply felt as the industry as a whole reacts to Apple's next big product.

The Bandstand Dock from Standzout has been announced and includes integrated charging using Apple’s inductive charger, as well as additional ports to allow the user to simultaneously charge two other USB devices, including the iPad. It also features a pivoting watch platform, to adjust the angle of the watch for visibility from any angle. I'll definitely have to look this product up in the coming week as I make my way through CES.

LaCie employs mirrored Gorilla Glass in its latest fashion-focused hard drive

More storage news coming out of Las Vegas from Seagate subsidiary LaCie who launched the LaCie Mirror portable hard drive wholly encased in scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. This unique device is at once both a functional 1TB hard drive and a striking piece of decor. Technology as interior design will first be available in late January for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $279.99 at LaCie.com with wider availability later this year.

CES 2015: Seagate launches 7mm thin portable drives

Seagate is celebrating 35 years of storage with an unprecedented extra thin portable drive. At 7 millimeters slim the precision-crafted Seagate Seven is a portable 500GB capacity in stainless steel enclosure.
