PhatWare Corp. today is proud to announce it has renamed its new WritePro word processing app for iPhone and iPad as WritePad Pro. PhatWare has decided to change the app name to leverages the strong brand awareness and foundational technology of PhatWare's popular WritePad app and handwriting recognition SDK.

WritePad Pro, which builds upon WritePad's powerful handwriting recognition technology, adds rich text editing which can be combined with images, custom drawings, and text. PayPal is announcing the availability of the PayPal app with fingerprint authentication on the new Samsung Galaxy S5 device. When shopping with PayPal on their Samsung Galaxy S5, users can login with their fingerprint to shop at millions of merchants that accept PayPal on mobile web sites, mobile apps and in stores. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S5 users who use the PayPal app will receive $50 USD or more in offers at several merchants that accept PayPal.

Online tool tells you how much time you spend watching TV

We all have those days when we trade-in productivity for a good TV show. But sometimes we go to the extreme of forgetting our responsibilities. This tool by Alex Cican wants to be your wake-up call of sorts. Or at least let you know how much time you’ve spent staring at that black box in your home. It computes based on how many seasons of a show you’ve seen and even adds up the total time across all the shows you’ve seen.

Second-gen Moto X rumoured to get various back panel options

Customization is key for Motorola. That is why the rumoured “Moto X+1” a.k.a. the second generation Moto X will reportedly get 25 different panel options. @evleaks on Twitter leaked the different colors that might be available:

Cool: Navy, Turquoise, Olive, Royal Blue, Dark Teal

Neutral: Slate, Purple, Smoke, Black, Chalk

Warm: Red, Orange, Lemon Lime, Violet, Crimson, Raspberry, Cabernet

Wood: Teak, Bamboo, Rosewood, Ebony

Leather: Black, Red, Grey, Blue
