Panasonic adds to its rugged handheld tablet product line with new Toughpads

Panasonic has released two new Toughpad rugged tablets at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Toughpad FZ-F1 run Windows 10 while the Toughpad FZ-N1 runs Android Lollipop. Designed around enterprise as well as to be used in the field. Both feature a drop rating of 6’ and have also passed a torturous tumble test that saw the devices endure 2,000 consecutive 3.3’ drops – so they can stand up to the abuse of the most demanding enterprise and government usage environments.

ZTE unveils Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite smartphones destined for emerging markets at MWC

Cheeky upstart ZTE took the wraps off the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite, at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. 

“We’re proud to show off the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite to the world, and we’re starting here in Barcelona,” said Jacky Zhang, CEO of EMEA and APAC, ZTE Mobile Devices.

An overview of Samsung's Galaxy S7 smartphone features and accessories

The above video from Samsung gives a great overview of what is new in the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which are two different devices with some overlapping features. Samsung fans will find a greatly improved line of phones with two sizes, premium materials, new camera designed for low-light photography plus the return of microSD card expansion and water resistance. LG certainly got the memo this year that smartphones have to be more and do more than what has long been expected of them.
