Standard YouTube App to be dropped from iOS 6

Looks like the YouTube video App that's been one of the stock applications on all iOS devices will no longer be included as a default app in the next revision of Apple's iOS.

Apple has already replaced the Google Maps app with their own application and now the YouTube app is gone as well. Google is expected to make available a standalone version of YouTube that iOS users will need to download on their devices.

SourceCode: CTV delivers an Olympic viewing experience for web and mobile

I've been really impressed by how CTV has managed to optimize and deliver the 2012 London Olympics in various formats. The live feeds and recaps are a given on their various TV and cable channels but there is a wealth of content to be found online through the CTV website  or RDS in French, as well as their iOS and Android apps which give viewers in Canada unprecedented access to the games.

Samsung launches Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet

Today Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1. Outfitted with the functionality and precision of a pen and paper on a 10.1-inch large display, the Galaxy Note 10.1 incorporates new features and capabilities such as side-by-side multitasking with the device’s Multiscreen feature. Pricing and availability has not yet been announced but we can get a good idea of the device's functionality in the video after the break.
