CES 2011: Microsoft Surface 2 with RBC app demoed (video)

A Canadian first. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is  a Microsoft Surface PC partner. This was the demo from the Microsoft Keynote at CES 2011. The Surface 2 has Pixelsense (pixels are cameras) and a thinner form factor that allows it to be mounted on a wall, it also has the largest slate of protective Gorilla Glass bonded to a screen.

CES 2011: HyperMac innovates the external battery segment

Las Vegas - One of the more innovative solutions for Apple portable users is HyperMac's HyperJuice line of external batteries. They used to sell a solution that came with the MagSafe adapter which could charge and power MacBooks for up to 45 hours. Apple refused to let HyperMac sell the MagSafe solution so the manufacturer had to invent other ways to get their products to work with MacBooks.
