We've loved subportable Mac notebooks since the days of the PowerBook Duo, the rare and elusive PowerBook 2400c and the feisty 12 inch PowerBook G4. When the PB12 was discontinued in 2005, Apple lost its presence in the subportable market, choosing instead to focus on the 13-inch form factor. Now that the smaller MacBook Air has been introduced, we look at what's been added and what's been removed in this remarkable and game changing laptop.

Facebook apps caught farming user information

A recent investigation by the Wall Street Journal revealed that all ten of the most popular apps on Facebook have been leaking Facebook user’s ID numbers (UID’s) to outside advertising and data collection firms. Moreover, three of these top apps, including the hugely successful Farmville, which has 80 million users, are potentially sharing information about users and their friends.

Review: Nokia C6 Symbian Smartphone

Billed as an entry-level smartphone on Bell's network (free with a three-year plan, $249 no contract), the Nokia C6 bears some similarity to last year's Nokia flagship N97. Light in weight but not in features, the C6 comes loaded with a 5Megapixel camera, video calling, OVI Maps and a touch-screen display coupled with a large slide out QWERTY keyboard.
