Apple has invited some members of the media to a press conference tomorrow. This event is said to be focused on the iPhone 4 and will likely cover the issues surrounding the popular device. We're hoping to hear some definite news about the iPhone 4's availability in Canada.

Review: HTC Legend on Virgin Mobile

The HTC Legend, which is available to Bell and Virgin Mobile subscribers is an Android 2.1 smartphone with a sleek  Aluminum unibody shell, a bright AMOLED screen and a new optical trackball that doesn't actually have a ball. What it does have is character, style, speed and all the best the Google's mobile  OS has to offer in a small and fun to use form factor. Telus announces HTC Desire coming soon to Canada

Telus announced the arrival of HTC's Desire super-smartphone yesterday. The HTC Desire sports a large 3.7 inch AMOLED screen, Android OS 2.1 with HTC Sense and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and will work on Telus' HSPA network.

 

The HTC Desire shares a lot of the features of Google's Nexus One but adds certain innovations like an optical trackball with no moving parts. No specifics on pricing or availability were confirmed but the phone is expected to be announced soon.

Apple Expo 2010, iPhone 4 developments and HTC Legend shines 

Canadian Reviewer was a media partner at the recently concluded Apple Expo 2010 which is the biggest yearly show for Apple resellers, distributors and Mac users in Toronto. Aside from a number of workshops and seminars focusing on Macs in business and industry, there were a number of interesting product and solution exhibits.

This year's show, which took place at the Metro Convention Centre, Toronto, attracted hundreds of visitors throughout the afternoon. The show itself wasn't any larger in scale than  the one in the Distillery District last year but the new venue seemed more appropriate. Sadly, Apple itself wasn't represented either as an advertiser or as an exhibitor.
