iPad Pro available for preorder at MacMall

Online Mac specialty retailer MacMall is offering the upcoming iPad Pro for preorder with an early bird discount. The iPad Pro and its Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil accessories are expected to hit stores on November 13 (although Canadian availability and price is still up in the air). Being a new product, initial stock is expected to be constrained until manufacturing can ramp up production to meet demand. We saw a similar trend with the MacBook earlier this year, which trickled into Apple Retail Stores the first few weeks of its availability.

Review: Google Nexus 5X

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The Nexus 5X would have been the perfect follow-up to the Nexus 5 a year ago and in its current price point. It is still a great and attractive Nexus device in 2015. The list of affordable alternatives, however, is growing more compelling.

Two years after the original Nexus 5 won the hearts of the Android faithful, LG has once again created the ‘everyman’s Nexus’ device. The thin, light and well-seasoned Nexus 5X is an impressive mid-tier smartphone at  CAD $500 unlocked, but is it more attractive than the competition?
