Review: Sennheiser Momentum On Ear Headphones

Improving an already iconic line of on-ear headphones with a smaller profile, deeper sounds and optimum noise isolation, the Momenum On-Ear, is a strong and contemporary follow-up to one of Sennheiser’s most beloved headphones.

I reviewed the original Momentum series four years ago and somehow it remained my point of reference for what a great set of over the ear headphones could offer. Like that original line, the smaller On-Ear continues the trend by using high quality materials like soft alcantara leather, brushed stainless steel, and woven cloth accents that don’t just stand up to time but which also continue to delight the user the more the headphones are used.

Top Score Baseball brings "Moneyball" to amateur teams

With Major League Baseball postseason fever in full effect, the mobile app Score More Baseball has been officially rebranded to Top Score Baseball to better reflect its main value prop. Top Score Baseball simplifies the scoring of baseball games and brings the power of “Moneyball” to amateur, rec, and youth baseball teams, using the same performance-based approach now used by over a dozen Major League Baseball teams.

Season one of Score More Baseball saw over 8,500 downloads, with over 2,000 coaches signing up and registering their teams. The big surprise? For all the talk of which smartphones are the true app platforms, BlackBerry users led the way, accounting for over two thirds of application downloads. Android was second, and iOS was a distant third.

Boeing's James Bell joins Apple's board

Apple's board of directors has just added James Bell who was the former chief financial officer and corporate president of The Boeing Company.

Bell brings more than four decades of experience in finance, strategic planning and leadership in complex organizations. During his 38-year career at Boeing, he also oversaw Boeing Capital Corporation and Boeing Shared Services, and was interim CEO of The Boeing Company in 2005. 

“James brings a wealth of global, financial and industrial experience from his successful career at Boeing as corporate president and CFO,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “I am thrilled to welcome him to Apple’s board of directors and I look forward to working with him.” Bell said, "

“I am delighted to join the Apple board and look forward to contributing to its continued success in any way I can.”
