Google Translate automatically switches Gboard to appropriate language

Google Translate gets a handy feature that automatically switches Gboard to the language you need for text entry. Say the default language for the device is English, but you'll be translating from Spanish. Gboard will auto switch to Spanish but will then return to your default language when done. This helps make typing more accurate and saves users time from having to manually go into Gboard's settings.

Apple Fitness+ introduces postpartum workouts

Apple introduces a range of new Fitness+ workouts geared towards those who just had their babies. The series is aptly called "Get Back to Fitness After Having a Baby." It contains seven workouts in the Core, Strength, and Mindful Cooldown categories. Some of the new exercises target the pelvic floor to help restrengthen muscles supporting organs in the pelvis area that relax during childbirth. There will be modifications for different intensity levels depending on the preferred level of activity post-childbirth. Mindful Cooldowns include messages that remind new parents about patience and self-care.

Dell's new stylus comes with built-in Tile finding tech

Source: Dell

Dell unveiled a new stylus a few days ago with a handy trick. The Premier Rechargeable Active Pen comes with Tile's finding technology. So, if you misplace it, you can use Tile's app to make the stylus buzz and flash its LED lights to find where it is nearby. And if it's farther than your immediate vicinity, you can see its last known location and use Tile's network to track it down.

The stylus has three shortcut buttons and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It comes with up to a 40-day runtime on a single charge and can be recharged to 80 percent via USB-C in around 20 minutes. Dell doesn't mention wireless charging for this stylus, but you can magnetically attach it to compatible Dell 2-in-1 laptops. The Premier Rechargeable Active Pen retails for US$110 (around CA$138 converted).

Twitter tests option to let two accounts co-author tweets

Source: Alessandro Paluzzi

Twitter has confirmed it's trying a new feature to let two accounts co-author one tweet. App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi has posted evidence of this feature since at least December. But recent development shows an official-looking dialogue box from Twitter about how the feature works. The concept is similar to what Instagram launched last year. Attaching two users two a tweet can be helpful for things like brand partnerships, influencer campaigns, or just sharing credit for a funny post.

Based on the leaked screenshots, you'll only be able to invite public accounts that follow you to co-author a tweet. These users will need to accept your invitation. And when published, Twitter will share the tweet with followers of both accounts. Both of your avatars will be displayed at the top of the post. As The Verge pointed out, there are hopefully safeguards to prevent being hit by requests to co-author spam tweets.
