Nintendo might bring Game Boy titles to Switch Online

Nintendo's Switch Online subscription service may add Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles to its roster in the future. The latest Nate the Hate  podcast  brought up how some people found in 2019 that the service had four emulators, with two of those unused. The hosts believe those emulators are for Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles. Other sources from Nintendo Life  and Eurogamer  corroborated this report.

Switch Online has been around for almost three years, and the company has been adding more and more SNES and NES games to its lineup. If Nintendo brings its Game Boy titles, the service won't run out of games to add in the foreseeable future. Nintendo won't comment about the report.

WhatsApp's cross-platform chat history transfer tool comes to Samsung devices

WhatsApp has started rolling out its chat history transfer tool that lets you move your chat history between Android and iOS devices. Its first spotted on Samsung devices running on Android 10 and above, but WhatsApp plans to bring it to more Android devices "soon." The tool will let you import everything from voice memos, photos, videos to messages.

One of the notable requirements for the tool to work is that you'll need a Lightning to USB-C cable to connect the two phones. You also need to have the same number on both phones. Plus, your Samsung device has to be new or recently went through a factory reset. It would be best if you definitely were prepared before you access this tool.

Apple Watch Series 7 bands might not fit with older models

If the rumours are accurate, you might not be able to use your old Apple Watch bands with the upcoming Series 7 watches. The new wearable is rumoured to get flat edges and new sizes, meaning compatibility issues with the older models.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to get bigger sizes at 41mm and 45mm. And while these are just 1mm difference, the new flat cases might affect how the bands will fit. But, of course, we'll only know this once Apple launches the device. It's expected to launch alongside the iPhone this month. But Apple hasn't confirmed the launch just yet.
