Android reaches critical mass: Now accepting apps from 20 countries and sellling to 18 more

Google's Android OS is sure gaining momentum. These past few months have seen a number of new and notable handsets (most sporting the newer versions of the OS) as well as an increase in market share and user awareness. It has even increased its mobile browser share significantly. Now developers from 20  more countries can sell their apps and users in 18 more countries can buy these apps. Talk about a blossoming ecosystem. Hit jump for a list of countries getting their Android on.

Here are the 20 new countries that are now allowed to sell apps in the Android Marketplace:
