Samsung B5310 CorbyPRO from Rogers

Itching for a touchscreen phone that’s also got a slide out keyboard? The Samsung B5310 Corby Pro sports a 2.8” inch display with 16 million colors resolution and a long list of notable features.

Quad band and 3G capable high-speed data connectivity, accelerometers for auto rotate feature, a 3.15 Megapixel camera with QVGA video, geotagging and smile detection. Stereo FM radio with RDS and a GPS receiver round out the smartphone class features in this uniquely versatile phone. The only thing lacking, really is a mobile OS to put all these awesome features to good use.

The Samsung B5310 is carried by Rogers and costs $69.99 on exclusive three-year plans or $279.99 for the no term option.

Heavy texters will blaze through messages and gossip with the Samsung B53210’s slide out keyboard and will likely fritter away a lot of time on the TouchWIZ and Widgets technology. Widgets are made up of widely used applications like calendar, clock and alarms, music player functions, FM radio functions, games etc. The Widget with ‘drag-and-drop’ feature is quick and simple technique which allows the user to set hotkeys for all desired functions on the touch menu.

Samsung has preloaded Widgets including Google search, YouTube, Calendar, Calculator and several games. Many more Widgets such as CNN Mobile Edition etc are available for free download.
