HP’s 2311gt 3D monitor delivers home 3D

HP announced its 2311gt3D Monitor and HP Wireless TV Connect 2.0 for consumers to experience, create and share 3D content. HP’s 2311gt 3D monitor delivers the ultimate 3D experience in an ultra slim 23-inch LED backlit display and features Film Patterned Retarder technology which offers a brighter display, clearer images and a flicker-free 3D picture.

Bundled with two pairs of passive 3D glasses, users will also enjoy software from Cyberlink and TriDef as well as a 3D movie trailer for the upcoming animated film “Puss in Boots” from DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. With Cyberlink’s PowerDVD, users can convert their existing 2D content such as photos and videos into 3D content while the TriDef Ignition Game Player displays 2D games in 3D. The 2311gt 3D monitor will be available in Canada on January 15th starting at $379.99

HP Wireless TV Connect 2.0 allows users to stream 3D content from a PC directly to a television. It features a smaller, updated design that is now completely wire-free. Simply plug the dongle-sized receiver into a PC’s HDMI port to instantly stream HD and 3D movies, games and web applications directly to a television or any large screen. HP’s Wireless TV Connect 2.0 is expected to be available in Canada in December starting at $159.99.
