iTunes Festival streaming for free on iOS devices

Tomorrow, for the first in history, the iTunes Festival streams live around the world with free access for everyone. Canadians can enjoy their favourite acts for free, no lineups and no hassle - anywhere, anytime. 

Music fans around the world will be able to watch performances from the iTunes Festival London 2011 for all of July including Coldplay, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Duran Duran with live HD video streams on their iPad, iPhone and iPod touch via the free iTunes Festival London 2011 App, and directly on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com in the US, www.itunes.ca in Canada).  Hit jump for details and for the full lineup of performers.

The iTunes Festival London 2011  will present performances from 62 artists in 31 nights this July at London's historic roundhouse, many of whom will be streamed live and free via the iTunes Festival London 2011 App and directly on the iTunes Store starting on July 1 (TOMORROW) with Paul Simon.

The iTunes Festival London 2011 App, available for free download starting today on the App Store, will also feature a full guide listing all festival performances and the latest news and photos from the festival as they happen.

Streamed performances will also be available on-demand via the iTunes Festival App and the iTunes Store to watch anytime. 

The iTunes Festival London 2011 App features AirPlay support to stream HD video from your mobile device to your widescreen television with Apple TV. 

Fans can also purchase and download iTunes Festival London 2011 live EPs from their favorite artists exclusively on the iTunes Store. Below is a full lineup of performers for this year's festival.
