SlideShow: Lenovo's IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC at CES 2013

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The Lenovo Horizon was the 'big' story of CES 2013. The Horizon is a table computer, capable of laying flat on a surface and it can take touch gestures from multiple users. Running Windows 8, this 27-inch mega-tablet/table won the best of CES award this year not just for being audacious but for making this new and potentially game-changing segment of computing somewhat affordable at $1700. This might just get me to go back on World of Warcraft. Specs include:

  • Up to 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor
  • Up to Windows 8 Pro
  • 27" backlit full HD (1920x1080) multi-touch display; 16:9 widescreen
  • Up to 2 hours battery life
  • Up to 1TB HDD
  • Up to 8GB DDR3
