Indigo launches mobile app on Android and iOS

Indigo, Canada's leading seller of books, lifestyle items and gifts, has just released a new mobile app on Android as well as on iOS (with PassBook functionality).

The new app, designed specifically for the Android  as well as iOS platforms, simplifies the Indigo shopping experience for quicker and easier purchasing, at home, in-store, or on the go.

“Our customers have let us know that they want to experience all that Indigo offers through their mobile devices,” said Sumit Oberai, Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Digital at Indigo Books & Music, Toronto. “Our new mobile app will ensure that we’re offering a truly integrated and rich experience across our channels.”

An innovative take on store apps, Indigo's solution allows users to experience the full breadth and depth of the Indigo assortment in every category on mobile. Or scan the barcode of any product in store, buy it directly from the app, and have it shipped conveniently to your home or to a gift recipient. The barcode scanning feature also allows for easy access to ratings, reviews, store availabilities, and purchasing.

Mobile users can also create and integrate their wish and gift lists, receive targeted offers, marketing communications and personalized recommendations that will help stretch their budget on Indigo’s already affordable and beautifully designed assortments.

The Indigo Mobile App, in addition to effortless mobile shopping, gives customers access to their plum loyalty and rewards membership, great product information, personalized recommendations and offers that understand, anticipate and cater to their shopping needs. Get it here now for iOS or Android.
