LG reportedly launching webOS-powered smart TV at CES

After acquiring the defunct operating system from HP last February, LG looks to use the webOS platform for a new smart television. The Verge reports that the webOS-powered TV will make its debut at CES in January and will feature a Cards interface, similar to Apple, Microsoft, and Google mobile user interfaces.

The TV is also rumoured to be powered by a 2.2GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, and apps based on the webOS’ Enyo framework.
