Pure Google variant of the HTC One confirmed, arrives on June 26th

For anyone holding out for a Pure Google variant of the HTC One, it looks like your wishes have come true. What is arguably the best Android smartphone will be available in certain markets sporting the latest version of Google's Jelly Bean Android OS and without any of HTC's innovative yet persistent overlay features like BlinkFeed and Sense UI elements. The new version will come unlocked to the US via the Google Play store and will be compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T (the latter should work just fine with Canadian carriers). Cost will be $599 and it looks like it will be featured alongside the Google-fied Samsung Galaxy S4. No word on Canadian availability or if this trend spells the end of the Nexus program for Google but this is a great development for all fans of the HTC One and Google.
