By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Parrot is synonymous with Bluetooth products as well as swanky wireless headphones. Taking all their expertise on the road, the company recently released a range of connected solutions that bring the functionality of the Android OS to vehicles.

The Smart, Tablet and Mini devices are each installed in vehicles in various wasy and offer access to a number of smart features such as GPS Navigation Solutions, live traffic, music libraries, online streaming radio, driving assistance and much more. Parrot also offers a bespoke Android app store called the ASTEROID Market that will feature compatible applications.

More than extensions of one's smartphone or tablet, these solutions make vehicles connected and interactive computers that can use multi-touch screens to interact with incoming mail, messaging and even Facebook updates. Weather, navigation, entertainment and augmented reality as well as geolocation apps are also available.
